So, there is an escort cop, leading the way to the hospital, who should have been Grey, but he's been reported as Chaney. Here's the comparison to Chaney.

That match looks very good. Now here's Grey.

That isn't nearly as good, and there is something that is jumping out saying that it can't possibly be him. Do you see what it is? Take a moment. Look at it. Study it.  Test your powers of observation.

He's wearing a bowtie! How many times have you seen a motorcycle cop wearing a bowtie? This is a first for me. And you know darn well that they all weren't wearing bowties. It wasn't a thing like Fritz' men wearing white Stetson hats. The guy on the left isn't wearing a bowtie. His shirt seems to be open. The picture on the right was taken just minutes later at Parkland Hospital, and you know that Grey didn't stop and put on a bowtie.

Moreover, I found Chaney's interview with Bill Lord, and in it, he said that after the shooting, he went ahead to the lead car to confer with Chief Curry, and Curry instructed him to escort them to Parkland. So, that settles it. This caption is correct. That is James Chaney on the left.

But, there is another wrinkle in this baffling story. Let's go back to the Zapruder film. Frame 41 is the last clear image of Grey. We can see the white basin sticking out.

He never seems to turn. He seems to be bypassing Elm. Then we don't see him for a while. But then, lo and behold, he, rather suspiciously, pops up again. Here is frame 118.

If you look closely on the upper left side, the wheel of a motorcycle is coming into view. Let's jump to 123.

We're seeing more, but you have to admit that it's crude.

In 129, the strange thing is that it didn't progress very much. And it still looks pretty crude. The final frame of it is 132, and it's very blurry.

The very next frame jumps to the Presidential limo.

Personally, I am inclined to think they took the paint kit out to create that crude imagery of Grey. I really think he disappeared. He went another route. If he didn't, then why did Curry have to replace him in the escort trio with Chaney?

Out of humility, I will leave open the possibility that I'm wrong about this, even though my confidence is high. But, please know that there are plenty of other things that I leave NO possibility that I am wrong. It was definitely Oswald standing in the doorway. Mary Moorman definitely did not take the Moorman photo. Jack Ruby definitely was not the Garage Shooter of Oswald (and nobody was; he was shot afterwards). And JFK was definitely shot with a nerve agent at the top of Dealey Plaza adjacent to the TSBD.
