This is an excellent new article by Phil Nelson about LBJ and the events leading up to the JFK assassination.  I posted the comment below.

Excellent article, but some errors are present. JFK was already shot in the back at the time of the Willis photo. He was shot in the back right before the Croft photo, which was just a little past the monument, high on the hill. So, Kennedy rode down the steepest part of the hill already shot in the back but not yet shot in the throat. We don't see it in the Zapruder film because they edited it out to make it look like he was shot all at once behind the freeway sign. Most researchers recognize that the SBT is nonsense, and that he was hit with separate shots to back and throat. However, they mistakenly keep the timeline that those shots happened at the same time. Again, if you look at the Croft photo, and we know where the limo was when it was taken, there is clear evidence of photographic manipulation to hide the fact that JFK was shot in the back. The other error is that Oswald went to Mexico. He did not, and Mark Lane figured that out by December 7, 1963 and wrote it in his lawyer's brief. And I am very fortunate to have had the privilege of discussing it on the phone with Mark Lane. John Armstrong is another researcher who states unequivocally that Oswald did not go to Mexico City. Finally, attributions made to Jack Ruby are almost all bogus. He had no part in the assassination. The Ruby sightings are all bogus. And he did not shoot Oswald. He got to the garage early and was hustled up to the 5th floor, which is where he was when FBI Agent James Bookhout performed the theatrics of shooting Oswald for television. Oswald was shot, and he did die at Parkland Hospital that day. But, the shooting occurred afterwards, not during the Garage Spectacle.
