My focus has always been on the back shot that preceded it, which I think is much less speculative. That's because 12 years later, in 1975, the "heart attack gun" was presented to the world, and William Colby admitted that it worked, and it could deliver, via a frozen missile, paralytic shellfish toxin. 

The "story" of the Zapruder film is ridiculous, that Kennedy reached the freeway sign smiling and waving, and then after being obscured behind the sign for less than 2 seconds, emerges from it a completely different person, exhibiting freaky and bizarre neuromuscular and mental behavior. It's like he became a zombie in less than 2 seconds. Now, the film underwent Frankenstinian alteration for sure, and the sign in the film isn't even real. But, the changes to Kennedy cannot be attributed to the physical trauma he received to that point- except by conjuring up a fanciful speculation like Dr. Bob Livingston did. The fact is: JFK was not badly hurt until the fatal head shot. So, how could he lose his mind and the control of his body so fast? He was poisoned. There is no other possible answer.  Ralph
