This is a comparison of the Phil Willis image of Carl Jones and the Altgens image. They are the same image. It is impossible for Willis and Altgens to capture him the same when Altgens was way down the length of Dealey Plaza on South Elm while Willis was right across the street from the entrance at the corner of Elm and Houston.
Notice, on the left, how big Carl was. He was very broad in the shoulders and chest. But, what is it on the right? There is his face in profile, then below it is the cuff of Oswald's shirt-sleeve, and then below that is this little configuration shaped like a shamrock. But, what happened to Carl Jones' body? His body isn't there. Recall the phenomenon of parallax. Carl Jones was out of view to Altgens due to parallax.
So, why did they do all this, insert the face of Carl Jones from the Phil Willis slide and put that shamrock shape in to represent his body? It was because Oswald was clasping his hands in front, which was his habitual stance, and they didn't want us to see it.
I was contacted by a man who was career Miliary, and he informed me that standing with your hands clasped in front is a common practice. Even though the "At Ease" stance usually involves clasping your hands in back, that's only mandatory when it's a formal parade. At other times, you can stand "At Ease" with your hands clasped in front. He thinks it was in the Marines that Oswald acquired the habit to stand that way.
But regardless, it was Oswald's entrenched habit, and we have many images of him doing it. They felt the need to remove it, hence, all the evil handiwork exploiting Carl Jones.
But, the larger question is: Why, when they saw that Oswald was standing in the doorway, didn't they just destroy the Altgens photo? Nobody would have missed it. The only one who knew about it was Ike Altgens hiimself, and he was a team player. If they told him that they had to destroy his photo "for national security reasons" he would have accepted it. It wasn't going to affect his pay. So, why would he care?
And let me tell you: If at the time, they could look into the future, and see that 60 years later, Ralph Cinque and others would be raising Holy Hell that Oswald is standing in the doorway, I guarantee you they would have destroyed it.
