I am very pleased to announce that My Stretch of Texas Ground has won three awards at the Vegas Movie Awards: Best Thriller, Best Indie Feature, and Best 1st time Screenwriter.
However, I am not really surprised because they came to me and asked me to enter their festival because they said they very much liked the film. They found out about it from the wins we had at Austin Indie Fest.
And it really is such a singular film that really makes a statement.
It entertains but it also leaves you with something to think about it.
And we have come so far. Every problem has been solved. The editing is flawless now. Every scene comes through, just the way it's supposed to, just the way I envisioned. It is unique, and it is powerful.
