It's often said that millions of people saw Jack Ruby shoot Lee Harvey Oswald on national television, but actually, you can't tell it's Ruby; you don't see his face. And when you compare other things, such as his hair, it doesn't correlate. On the left is the Garage Shooter, and on the right is Ruby from his mug shot. Does it look like the same hair to you?

It's also said that Jack Ruby admitted shooting Oswald, but that's not true either. Ruby accepted that he shot Oswald, but only because Dallas Police told him that he did. He said that he had no memory of shooting Oswald, no thought of shooting Oswald, and no expectation of even seeing Oswald. He said that all he could remember was going down to the basement, and then getting pounced upon by Dallas Police, and he had no idea why. Then, he was hustled up to the 5th floor, where he was told that he shot Oswald. That was the whole basis for him believing that he did it.

But, what if there was nothing wrong with his memory? What if what he remembered was exactly what happened, and Dallas Police lied to him?

Through painstaking analysis, I have determined that Jack Ruby got to the garage about an hour earlier than claimed. He was jumped; taken upstairs to the 5th floor jail; and that's where he was when the televised spectacle went down. Then, they showcased him to the cameramen a few hours later, in a perfect bait and switch.

But, who impersonated Jack Ruby during the televised Jail Transfer? That's what I was determined to find out. I knew it had to be someone from law enforcement. First, I considered Fritz' men, but there was no one who fit the bill. Then, I considered the FBI agents, starting with James Boohout. And when I realized that there were no images of James Bookhout from the JFK assassination,  I was aghast. How could there be no images of him, when he attended all the interrogations and followed Oswald around like his shadow?

Years past with no images of James Bookhout found except for some yearbook images of him, including this one from Woodrow Wilson High School showing that he was short- just like the Garage Shooter.

The Garage Shooter was the shortest man in the garage, that we know of. Look how short he was.

Jack Ruby was 5'9", and no way was that guy that tall. He may have been 5'6" but no taller.

But then, this British guy named Bart Kamp, who is associated with Dealey Plaza UK, surfaced claiming that he went to the National Archives, and they provided him with this image of James Bookhout from the JFK assassination.

So, we are supposed to believe that James Bookhout was a pipe smoker, and he decided to light-up in Fritz' office? On that day? With the President and a police officer shot dead? And he was so absorbed with his pipe, that he had no interest in what Fritz was saying to other officers behind him? That's Captain Will Fritz on the right in the bright Stetson hat. He was in charge of the investigation. James Bookhout was the FBI laison to the Dallas Police. Don't you think he would have been keenly interested in what Fritz was saying?

And notice that no one in the room seems to be aware of Pipe Man. The man at the desk with a phone at his ear, even he is looking at Frtiz, trying to hear what he's saying. It's as though he can look through Pipe Man like he wasn't there. He wasn't! He was pasted into the picture. And his image was tampered with. Look at the top of his head. It looks like someone used a Sharpie to enhance his hairline. That isn't hair in front. It isn't even a good imitation of hair.

So, I wrote to the National Archives asking if they would confirm that Pipe Man was James Bookhout. I heard back from Rebecca Calcagno, the Director of Special Access and Freedom of Information Act Issues. And she told me that the photographic contact print contained no information about who anyone in the picture is, and therefore, they do not vouch for him being James Bookhout, that they make no such claim.

But, did the National Archives proffer Pipe Man as an image of James Bookhout to Bart Kamp when he asked? I can't answer that.

So now, we are back to having no images of FBI Agent James Bookhout from the JFK assassination, even though he was a ubiquitous presence around Oswald. I believe that James Bookhout was the Garage Shooter of Lee Harvey Oswald, masquerading as Jack Ruby. But, I don't believe Oswald was shot for real in the garage. That was all a ruse. Oswald was shot afterwards, but by whom, I don't know. I'm sure it wasn't James Bookhout.

I'll end on this: When Jack Ruby testified to Judge Earl Warren, he told him that he thought he sent the money wire at 10:17. Right away, he was corrected by a Secret Service agent who told him that it was 11:17. And Ruby didn't argue. He never argued. He had a lot of respect for authority. But, I'm telling you that Jack Ruby was right, that he did send it at 10:17. He got to the garage early; he was nabbed there, and then told that he shot Oswald, and he accepted it because he was not right in his head. Most people, in that situation, would have fiercely denied it- no matter how many cops said they did it. If their memory was that they were just standing there and got jumped, they wouldn't doubt it. They would know whether or not they shot somebody. They would believe in themselves  and staunchly defend themselves. They would accuse the officers of lying. But, Jack Ruby was unable to do that because he was mentally impaired. He was helpless and hopeless.

Authorities needed Oswald dead because he was clamoring for a lawyer, and they couldn't put off giving him one much longer. Yet, they couldn't give him one because he would have had no trouble convincing a lawyer of his innocence and giving him plenty to use against the Dallas Police and the FBI.

Oswald  was innocent. He was standing in the doorway of the Book Depository during the shooting. And Jack Ruby was innocent too. This is the same man wearing the same clothes: Lee Harvey Oswald.
