Backes, you lying sack of shit, JFK appointed Morrison to the OAS in 1961 just as his term of office as mayor was expiring. The whole idea was that he segued from one job to the other. Morrison was sworn in on July 17, 1961, which was the very day that his term as mayor ended.

My point was that Morrison was NOT the mayor of New Orleans at the time of the JFK assassination. I never said he couldn't be mayor in 1961. I knew he was mayor in 1961. I said he couldn't have been mayor in 1963.

This is what the Idiot Backes originally said:

Ralphie-boy wants to criticize McAdams for thinking that deLesseps Story Morrison was the Mayor of New Orleans (which he was) because Ralphie-boy found where JFK asked him to be our Ambassador to the Organization of American States in 1961.   So, according to Ralphie-boy deLesseps Story Morrison couldn't have been the Mayor in New Orleans in 1961 and be appointed Ambassadorto the OAS in the same year.

It's very simple, Backes: Morrison was mayor until July 17, and on that day, he was sworn as Ambassador to the OAS. I never said Morrison couldn't have been mayor of (not "in" you moron) New Orleans in 1961.

And look how far we've come! Now Backes wants to brawl over exactly when Morrison was mayor (which is cut and dry thing) instead doing battle over Oswald in the doorway. Well, Oswald was in the doorway, Backes. It's him wearing his clothes, the same clothes in which he was arrested. You are just being an idiot for the sake of being an idiot. It's the only thing you're good at.
