I just spoke to the detective assigned to my vandalism case in Hays County. He told me that the term "Cleared Unfounded" referred only to the fact that the crime took place in the city of Austin and was therefore outside the jurisdiction of Hays County. (Austin is in Travis County.) He assured me that in no way was he stating or implying that my case is false or baseless. He knows very well that I am telling the truth. I have his name, but I won't provide it.

And, at no time did I ever say that my truck was "keyed." From the beginning, I thought it was done with a sharper object, such as a pocket knife or a straight edge.

And now, in response to these developments, I have filed a new criminal complaint with the Austin Police Department, since the crime occurred in Austin. And, they have given it a case number already, which I shall not provide. And they said that one of their detectives will be contacting me shortly.

So, I am taking it to the next level, and we'll see what happens.
