Backes, I don't dispute that the Charles Buck footage was broadcast on November 22nd, but what I'm saying is that there was no Lovelady figure in it. No one was seated at the desk in the Squad room. It wasn't even the kind of desk at which anyone would be seated. It was really more of a utility desk where forms and documents involved in police work were kept. Nobody would be seated there because it was right in the lane of traffic.

Supposedly, Oswald and the big cop walked right past Lovelady, but how? That was a narrow lane leading to the back office, and they would have had to go around him or hope over his feet or something. Who in his right mind would just sit there and inconvenience a procession of cops? Lovelady would have gotten the hell out of the way- if he had been there.

But, he was not there. They implanted him into that image after the fact. He wasn't even Lovelady. Nor was this guy:

Same complaint about this guy: Why the hell would he just sit there with all those people walking by? He wouldn't. He'd get up. And notice that he is a different man.

They are not the same man. The guy on the right doesn't even have his shirt sprawled open. It's cinched up, practically like a Nehru jacket. But, it's supposed to be the same guy at the same moment in time and space. And don't tell me a different camera angle caused his shirt to appear so different. That's bull shit, Backes. Look how different their hair is. Look how muscular that Herculean man on the left is compared to the scrawny guy on the right. Backes, you are just spewing bile if you say they are the same man.

Did you see the maze that Oswald was led through to get to that Homocide division? Do you really think that they led Lovelady and all those other witnesses from Dealey Plaza through all of that just so they could make brief statements? No, they would have dealt with them up front somewhere not deep within the bowels of the detectives' bureau. Forget it, Backes. Lovelady wasn't there. It was all made up. And Lovelady told us so himself:

Ball: Did you EVER see Oswald again THAT DAY?
Lovelady: No.

And you listen up, Backes. I am not the only one who advocates Oswald in the doorway. Plenty of people were doing it before me, like Mark Lane, Vincent Salandria, Harold Weisberg, and Penn Jones, among first generation researchers. And fortunately, Mark Lane and Vincent Salandria are still alive and have joined my group. Then, there are James Douglass, Doug Horne, David Wrone, Gerald McKnight, and many others that followed who endorsed Oswald in the doorway. When you trash me, you trash every one of them. When you trash me, you are in effect saying that you know better than every one of them. Well, you don't.

The cardinal issue is: where was Oswald during the shooting? And the answer is: in the doorway. That's what they say, and that's what I say. And that really is the ONLY thing that matters. They don't have to agree with me on every detail. If they agree with me on Oswald in the doorway, and they do, then that clinches it. That settles it. It makes everything else moot. Sadly, you are too stupid to realize it, you dumb mudder-pluck.

We are going to Santa Barbara, and we are going to ram the point of Oswald-in-the-doorway to victory. You can't stop us. You can't even slow us down. You're just a miserable, pathetic never-was. I'd say has-been, but what the hell have you ever been? Nothing. Go ahead and have another drink, Backes. You're going to need plenty because things are not going your way. Get used to disappointment.
