And finally, here is an excellent write-up about the Todd Beamer call and the "Let's roll" slogan, which George W. Bush had emblazoned on fighter planes for the War on Terror. 

There are lots of incongruities here as well. Remember how I remarked about the eerie calmness of Betty Ong as she spoke about all these passengers getting stabbed, stabbed, stabbed. Apparently, Todd Beamer evinced an eerie calmness too, and the 911 operator was bowled over by it. She also remarked that when he departed to lead the others in storming the cockpit, the phone line remained connected, and even after the crash (which the operator could not hear) the line was still connected.
