Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking: Captain Charles Burlingame. I want everyone to remain calm. The most important thing now is that we not do anything rash. I am turning the controls of the plane over to these men, since they have box-cutters, and they look pretty sharp. I have no doubt that they can safely fly the plane, and I'm sure they'll find a suitable airport somewhere, and wherever they land, help will be waiting on the ground- and I mean people who are on our side. Trust me on this.
So, put up no resistance. Remain calm. These men are armed and dangerous, and I don't want anyone to get hurt. We'll let them fly the plane, which I'm sure they can do. Besides, it will keep them busy and occupied and away from us. The ride might be a little choppy and the landing a little bumpy, but that's the worst that can happen. We'll get through this as long as we think on our feet and nobody panics. Now, I want you to go with me to the back of the plane, as we have been ordered to do. There, we can hold hands and sing "Kumbayah" until we are safely on the ground. This will be over soon. Trust me; the end is near.
