No, Backes. This is a highly altered image.
1) It stands alone in depicting Oswald this stocky, this husky. Nowhere else does Oswald look anywhere near this big. And do your on Math on it. Oswald was 5'9", 131 pounds. So, how could this possibly be showing him accurately? This image has to be rejected for being an inaccurate image of Oswald- no matter how you think it was derived. That is not Oswald's build.
Since Oswald looks downright skinny in every other image except this one, this one can't be accurate.
2) The extreme whiteness and brightness of his t-shirt was artificially rendered. It's a product of the flash- not the condition of Oswald's t-shirt which was old, tattered, torn, and threadbare.
3) An abrasion on Oswald's forehead got artificially darkened to where some see it as hair. It is not hair. It is just an abrasion. He did not have a thick wad of hair stuck to his forehead.
We know beyond any shadow of a doubt that that dark swirl is just an abrasion and not hair.
Right and left, there is a faint mark there from the scrape that Oswald took. But, the deep dark swirl in the middle frame is artificial. For some reason, the photo processing they did to it darkened it beyond how it really was, and I think it is important to realize that.
So, this whole image needs to be rejected as bogus.
Nobody can use it for anything to substantiate how Oswald was.
I won't let them.
