The thing is, if Ready and Landis were reacting to the sound of gunshots from the 6th floor of the Book Depository, wouldn't they look UP? To me, it looks like they are looking into the doorway. They didn't think the shot came from there, did they? So, why weren't they looking higher?

There's no point in talking about what the Hickey figure is doing because he wasn't doing anything; he wasn't Hickey, and he wasn't there.

But, what about Hill? He is looking down at Roberts who was talking on the phone. Look at that black smudge over Roberts' mouth. It's a deliberate obfuscation, and there is no technobabble explanation that can save it. It is an image taken by a professional photographer, James Altgens, and there's no pixel-stretching going on. Nothing can justify the presence of that smudge.

McIntyre seems to be looking towards the grassy knoll.

They said that SS agents were looking for the source of the shots BUT, NOT ONE OF THEM WAS LOOKING UP AT THE 6TH FLOOR WINDOW OF THE BOOK DEPOSITORY.

Ready and Landis really do seem to be looking at Oswald, and Hill really does seem to be looking at Roberts.

Notice that Hill's legs are crossed.

Holy Cow! He can't run from that position. He'd trip over himself. It's like his legs are tied in a knot. He'd have to undo that first before he could take off. This shows you that at the time of the Altgens photo, Clint Hill had no thought of going anywhere. He was riveted to that floorboard as if he were nailed to it. So, as of this late moment, he was not even remotely planning to bolt anywhere.

So, it makes me wonder: did he even go on his own accord? Or did he wait until he got a sign from Roberts to take off? Roberts probably sent him. And I'm saying that because Hill looks so lethargic, so totally inertial, as in: a body at rest stays at rest, that I can't imagine that he suddenly woke up and sprung into action all by himself. I think it's much more likely that he was looking to Roberts for guidance, and a second later, Roberts gestured him or ordered him to go. All it would have taken was a little head nod.
