Ollie Redux: When Bugliosi showed Frazier the Altgens photo, he positively identified Doorway Man as Lee Oswald.
Steve Mg. I think you meant Lovelady.
Anthony Marsh: So did Lovelady.
Ralph Cinque:
Wrong again, Marsh. Lovelady was dead by the time of the mock trial. And even if he were alive, he certainly wouldn't have gone to England, and they couldn't have made him.
Hey, he didn't even want to appear before the HSCA, and that was here. He must have pleaded on his hands and knees to Attorney Ken Brooten and Robert Groden not to force him to do it.
"Please! Anything but that! I'll sign a statement. I'll sign anything you want. You can even write it. I don't care. Just don't force me to appear. I'm telling you: I can't do it."
That's how it must have gone down. And why, if Robert Groden was really an advocate for Oswald, would he function as an emissary of the HSCA? Didn't he know that the HSCA was just another government commission like the Warren Commission? Why would he work for them? Why would he cooperate with them? Why would he help them?
Between Oswald defenders and Oswald accusers there shouldn't be any cooperation. There should be no working together. It should be nothing but shit-faced, spit-laced arguing- and maybe kicking sand into their cuffs, like the baseball managers do.
