That's right, James; I let that Chris guy have it, and he had it coming. He tried to claim that Oswald did own the rifle, and he did bring it to work that day- to show to somebody, a potential buyer.
Where did he get it from? Who knows? His imagination. There isn't a bit of evidence for it. And it doesn't make a bit of sense. If Oswald had brought the gun to work, he still knew that he didn't kill Kennedy, and therefore, he certainly wasn't going to lie about it to the police. When you're innocent, you don't have to lie, James.
"Yes, that's my rifle, and I brought it here. But, it was to show somebody, a guy named XXXX. I thought he might be interested in buying it. We had talked about it. You only have to ask him. I certainly didn't shoot anybody with it. This is insane. I had nothing to do with this. If my rifle was used, then I've been set up. It wasn't me."
That, or something like it, would have burst out of Oswald before he even had time to think. The idea that he would instead deny that he owned the rifle when he knew that he did is preposterous.
The whole idea is an outrage, and you would be outraged too, James- if you were a real Oswald defender. But, you're not. You don't care about Oswald. You don't have any "Christian charity" for Oswald. You see, I do. It isn't Christian, but it's charity. I'm in his corner, and I'm fighting for him. I'm fighting hard for him. You think it's a character flaw. I don't.
