Let's remember what happened the last time someone who had dirt on the sex crimes of the rich and powerful was being prosecuted by the U.S. government. She wound up dead by hanging after swearing numerous times that she would never do that. Her name was Debra Palfry, the DC Madam. She was found swinging from the rafters in her mother's garage. Don't you think if she were going to kill herself, she'd spare her mother the discovery of her body? Who does that to one's own 92 year old mother?
They've gone too far. We really need to band together and say, "Hell no. We are not buying it." In the end, they may try to scapegoat somebody, some official at the jail, just like they scapegoated Officer Roy Vaughan for supposedly letting Jack Ruby slip into basement to shoot Oswald. They didn't say that Vaughan did it on purpose, but out of incompetence, that a big strapping 29 year old police officer couldn't guard an 8 foot wide ramp, that Jack Ruby outsmarted him. But, something like that may happen now in the Epstein case. They'll do whatever they have to do to quell the public uproar, but I hope it doesn't work. I hope people say no to it.
