I knew the film would come under attack, and it is. But, none of the attackers talk about the message of the film, which is to decry the killing of innocents. Instead, the most common charge they levy is that the acting stinks. Well, it doesn't, and the best way for me to fight back is to show you. I wish I had a clip to put up, but I don't. However, I think these 20 screen grabs of Junes Zahdi from his speech demonstrate the passion and intensity that he put into it. And anyone who says it is bad acting doesn't know the first thing about acting.

This is Junes Zahdi as Abdul Latif Hassan in My Stretch of Texas Ground delivering his speech to all Americans. I think it's comparable to John Galt's speech to all Americans at the end of Atlas Shrugged. In this case, Hassan is informing Americans about the horrific death toll from the post-9/11 wars, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan, where many hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children have been killed.
