Think about human nature. Think about your own nature. The cops tell you that you shot a policeman at 10th and Patton. You know that you didn't, and you know that you were never even at 10th and Patton. So, what are you going to tell the cops? Isn't it:

"You think I shot him? Where was he shot? 10th and Patton? I was never at 10th and Patton. And what time was it? 1:16? I was in the theater at 1:16. I bought popcorn from the popcorn guy, and it was before that. And it's not like I left and ran up to 10th and Patton and came back.  Look: I'll tell you exactly what I did. I took the bus and then the cab, like I told you. I got to my room; I changed my pants; and then I went directly to the theater, and here's how I went: _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________"

Now, I could only speculate about what to put in there. I don't know what Oswald said. But, don't you think it's likely that he said something? Even if they didn't ask him, and it's hard to believe that cops wouldn't solicit an alibi from their suspect. But if so, I should think he would have volunteered it as soon as he realized that they thought that he shot Tippit. 

So, why haven't we heard anything about what Oswald said about this? How come in all the interrogators who wrote reports or testified to the Warren Commission, including Fritz and Bookhout and many others, how come no one ever reported Oswald's alibi for the Tippit shooting? And how come the warren Commission examiners, who were all lawyers, didn't solicit that information? 

The only thing we have is that Joseph Ball did, amazingly, ask Will Fritz where Oswald said he was during the shooting. And Fritz lied and said that Oswald said he was eating lunch with other employees. Please understand: Oswald didn't eat lunch with other employees even on a good day. He didn't do anything with other employees. He only talked to them if he needed something. He wasn't friendly. He wasn't sociable. There is zero chance that Oswald ate with anybody at the TSBD- ever. But, the whole idea that he was eating, even alone, at 12:30 is ridiculous. And that's because they got off work early, at 11:45, precisely so that people could eat and be ready to watch the President at 12:25, the expected time of arrival. So, the idea that Oswald would have put off eating for 45 minutes, and to what instead? And only to miss the Presidential motorcade when he had plenty of time to do both, eat and watch? It's ridiculous. Fritz flat-out lied.  And he knew he could get away with it because Oswald was dead. Plus, we have it on the record that Oswald said that he ate alone in the 1st floor lunch room early in the lunch  break at a time when Jarman and Norman were in the vicinity, which was early in the lunch break.  

But, regarding the Tippit murder, we have absolutely nothing on what Oswald said, his alibi for it. It's like the elphant in the room that no one wants to talk about. But, I figure he had to say something, and whatever it was, it must have been extremely exonerating. And that 's why they have never told us.
