Carl E. Linde was mainly a photographer for the AP. You can find lots of his photographs on the internet, such as this one of George Lincoln Rockwell. So, if Carl E. Linde was primarily a photographer, why did he write the captions for the Altgens photos? And realize that besides being a photographer, James Altgens was a journalist. He was a war correspondent during WW2. He reported. He wrote stuff. So, why didn't he write his own captions? How did Carl E. Linde get involved writing James Altgens' captions?
