MY STRETCH OF TEXAS GROUND has become an Official Selection at the Canadian Diversity Film Festival in Toronto. This was going to be a live festival, and they were going to screen it at the festival. And I might have flown up there for that. But now, because of Covid, it's going to happen online, and all the festivals are going that route. It's a shame.

But still, I feel very honored. And as time passes, I feel increasingly that we did something extraordinary in making this film because it is such a big story and a very impassioned one. And though not everyone agrees with its message comparing war to terrorism, even a professional film critic in that camp admitted to me privately that, "It's impassioned. I'll give you credit for that."

Indeed, it is, and I thank all the cast and crew.
