The theme song to HIS STRETCH OF TEXAS GROUND, I'll Always Come Home To You, is now up on Youtube, and there is a true story behind it. It was July 1964. My father, Mark Cinque, was a policeman in New York City, and he was about to leave for work- to patrol the streets at night during the Harlem Riot. My mother was beside herself with fear and despair. She begged him not to go. He took her by the shoulders and said to her very earnestly, "Rene, I am coming home to you."

I was 13 at the time, and I remember it like it was yesterday.

So, this song is dedicated to all the law enforcement couples who face the danger of that job, day in and day out, to protect us all.

My thanks to our vocalist, who is also the star of the movie, Jeff Weber; to Christy Mims, who did the backup vocals so beautifully; to Ace in the Hole Band guitarist Rick McRae; to Ace in the Hole Band bassist Terry Hale. Both Rick and Terry wrote to me afterwards to say how much they like the song.  I also thank our master sound engineer George Coyne; and for crafting the video so beautifully, Jeff Stolhand.
