This is the great guitarist Rick McRae and myself taken at the studio of George Coyne, where Rick laid down guitar tracks for my song, I'll Always Come Home To You.

First, he laid down an acoustic track and then an electric guitar track. Both he and George Coyne recommended adding a standing bass player afterwards to smooth it all out and blend it all together, and George is going to get famed bass player Terry Hale to do it.

So next, it will be Christy Mims adding vocal harmony to Jeff Weber's singing, and that will be Thursday morning. And then Thursday evening, it will be Terry Hale, and then we'll be done.

What I heard in Rick's playing was the addition of some tenderness to the song, which I think is good because I think it is, fundamentally, a sad song.

So, this went great, and much thanks to Rick McRae.
