First, the very fact that there are two versions speaks of fraud. It means that somebody messed with it.
And, we've seen this before as with multiple versions of the Lovelady walk-by footage from the Dallas PD.
bpete starts with a lie, saying that I was complaining about the "noise" and "haze" in photographs. No, my complaint was that bpete plays the "blurry" card whenever I point to something, but it never stops him from seeing what he wants to see in photographs - ridiculous elbows, hidden faces, or whatever. He is a hypocrite about that, and that was my complaint.
Then bpete had to contend with my spinal analysis of his figure:
We are talking here about the configuration of a person's spine. First, that man is leaning backward to an impossible extent. The human spine is forward-oriented. Most all of the movement and flexibility is facilitated in the forward direction, not backward. The facet joints of the spine lock when you try to lean backwards, and it's uncomfortable. It's also damaging. People may not realize it, but playing "limbo" is the one of the worst things you can do to your back. If Dr. Cinque is at a party, and a game of limbo breaks out, I guarantee you that he is not going to be joining in. And no one watch a parade all leaned back like that either. Why? For what possible reason would they want to do that? And what we are seeing above is extreme. Then, that sudden change of direction at the neck is just as bad and just as extreme. That guy is a freak!
The other guy looks normal, and I'll draw his spinal line in too.
But, bpete went ahead and drew in his own axis lines:
That is totally bogus, and I've seen this kind of thing before. There was a guy named John Mytton, whom I called Mighty Mouse Mytton. We were arguing about whether Doorman's t-shirt is v-shaped. I said it was, and he said it was a vee shadow obscuring his round t-shirt. So, he submitted this photo.
Perfect vee-shaped shadow, right? Nope; it's a perfect vee drawn in. Here's the outline of the actual shadow:
It turns out that the actual shadow there is nothing close to a vee. And here they are both together:
bpete is essentially doing the same thing in falsely drawing in the axis line on the uncorrupted Darnell figure.
Anyone can draw black lines, and anyone can draw them in any way they want, but it doesn't mean that the underlying reality corresponds to what is drawn.
What we are seeing on the figure of bpete is: distortion. They messed with the aspect ratio, trying to lengthen and slenderize him, and it resulted in the distortion that we see.
I am going to try to find out exactly how it was done, but just remember: the mere fact that the two versions exist tells you that somebody messed with that picture. This is most definitely a smoking gun.
