Why would anyone in his right mind claim that these two are the same man when there isn't one solitary thing that matches between them?

I don't get it. Don't they understand that it is the images that matter? Not the lip-flapping. Not the testimonies. Not the inferences and deductions. It is the images that rule! And in this case, the images don't match!

So, why are people claiming they are one and the same? And why are other people showing respect for the idea?  

It's just part of the Bizarro World of JFK, that's all. There are some people who are saying it just because it is anti-Cinque, and they will align with anyone who is anti-Cinque. But, compare the images! There isn't one thing that matches between them.
