You want to believe that because of lighting, camera settings, etc. that what we see on the left is what we see on the right, that that much color divergence was possible?
And all of the other images from the day of the assassination conform with the White House image. You, in fact, are confusing the issue. What matters most is how did it photograph?
Notice that in this picture below, we are getting a sense of the midnight blue of the car exterior and the pink of Jackie's dress. The seatback trim looks very dark.
Let's go in closer.
And that is certainly in keeping with the White House pic.
Notice that there is a lot of contrast between the seat trim and the main part of the seatback. We're getting a strong sense of light and dark. But, that color on the right doesn't seem dark at all. And as far as I know, it does not conform to any image of the limo taken on the day of the assassination except for itself. Is there any other one that looks like that?
