Do you know who this is?

Even if you do, you have to admit that it doesn't jump out at you. The recognition is not instant. And if you haven't figured it out, I'll tell you who it is: it's that famous star of such movies as Sleepless in Seattle, Forrest Gump, and Saving Private Ryan, Tom Hanks.

Why doesn't it jump out at you? I think it's a combination of reasons, but do you know what's the biggest? It's the hat. The hat covers the top of the head, including the junction between the forehead and the hairline, and that contributes mightily to how a person looks. It's what frames your whole face.

And it has been known for a long time. And that's why when they changed the top of Doorman's head from that of Oswald to that of Lovelady, they knew that they had harnessed a very powerful change in appearance.

They really thought they could get away with it based on that one change- even though in spite of that, Doorman still has Oswald's slender build, Oswald's stance, and most importantly: he is wearing Oswald's clothes.

You have to realize that the world of clothing is vast- even men's clothing. The idea that Lovelady woke up that morning and put on the same outfit as Oswald is preposterous. And the idea that they looked alike- to the point of almost being twins- is another preposterous lie. At the time, Lovelady was at least 170 pounds, while Oswald, who was taller, was 131. That's essentially a 40 pound difference. Look at this with that thought in mind:

Does it make sense that the guy on the right is 40 pounds heavier than the guy on the left?

And look how identical they are when you leave out the tops of the heads.

That the Altgens Doorman was Oswald is as certain as any fact in the known universe. And, it has reached the point of insanity to deny it.
