One thing is for absolute certain: one has to be east of the pedestal to capture the east face in a photo.

If you're directly across from it, you're going to just catch the south face directly, as Mack/Thompson did and as I did.

Betzner caught the east face because he was east of the pedestal.

You want to admit that that's two faces, Upperpunk, or do you need to do an overlay?

So, why did Betzner catch two faces, the south and the east? It's because he was south and east of the pedestal.

But where was Mary? She was right across the street from it.

If that's accurate, there is no way Mary was going to catch the east face of the pedestal. And even when you turn west (counterclockwise) as I did, to face the street diagonally, it's not going to help you catch the east face. You have to physically move east in order to catch it. Going east is what brings it into view. You have to be east of the pedestal to catch the east face. Mary wasn't east of it.

But, I did go farther east to take some pictures. Why? Because Babushka Lady was farther east. And this is what I got:

It did bring the east face into view. And if I had gone a little farther east, it would have brought it more into view. It would have comprised a bigger piece of the pie. But, this is showing us how it works.

So, something else is absolutely certain: if that's the east face of the pedestal we are seeing in the Moorman photo, then Mary could not possibly have taken it. She wasn't east enough to capture that east face.

As I see it, Betzner captured more east and less south, and that's because he was very east. He was more east than he was south. In the Moorman photo, it's more equal. It's 50/50. Another key difference is that in Betzner, they almost seem side by side, Zapruder and his secretary. That was due to Betzner's perspective. But, in Moorman, you're getting the sense that she was behind him. And that was due to the photographer's perspective. But, which photographer? Babushka Lady. She was the one who was far enough east to capture that east face- not Mary Moorman.

So, if this is right, if that's the east face showing in the Moorman photo, then it's like a stamp saying that Babushka Lady took it.
