On the left is the moment of impact in the second KRLD film. There's no reason to doubt me because if you look closely, you'll see that Oswald is starting to grimace. Compare the geometry to that of the Jackson photo on the right. And what happens in the KRLD film, as well as the NBC film, is that, after shooting Oswald from the side, the Shooter relocates himself. He jumps to where he is facing Oswald with his back to the camera.

But, before you leave the left picture, notice that Oswald's left hand is still resting where it was on top of his right. He has not yet begun the slap the chest thing.
And you never see him do the slap the chest thing because as the Shooter is relocating himself to be in front of Oswald, Oswald goes out of view. And when he comes back into view, he has that very faint hand on his chest that looks weird but different than the freako hand in Jackson. But, I think that if you look at the size of Oswald's cupped hand on the left, and for a good long while, and then quickly glance at the hand in Jackson, you'll realize that the Jackson hand is too big.
But, let's be honest about something. The story of the Jackson photo is that "Ruby" just shot Oswald and from that position. They didn't expect anyone to compare it to the positioning in the films or to the action in the films. Yet, they don't compare well, and the only way to make sense of it is to say that the Jackson photo was taken after Ruby relocated.
But, if that were true, why is he still pointing the gun at Oswald? Is he doing it because he intends to fire a second shot? But, if that is his intention, why didn't he do it? What was he waiting for? Did he ultimately change his mind.
It is my opinion that the Jackson photo is a posed photo that was taken in advance. We have the evidence of Dr. Fred Bieberdorf who said that police evacuated the basement about 9:45 and did not let reporters back in until 10 minutes before the shooting. He too was asked to leave. It was during that interval that the real Jack Ruby showed up and was grabbed. And either before or after that, they took the Jackson and other photos.
But, the main point I am trying to make with this collage is that in the Jackson photo, if the Shooter had enough time to relocate himself after shooting Oswald from the side, then surely it was enough time for Detective Lowery to come out of that hand clasp and very settled, relaxed look, and to activate himself to respond. Everything about Lowery is wrong: his continued hand clasping after the shot; his generalized relaxed state; and the expression on his face, which is totally wrong for the situation that it was.
But, while we're at it, look at Black Harrison on the right. First, he doesn't look like Blackie. He looks like Leonid Breznev. Second, he isn't dressed like Blackie. Blackie was wearing a suit. Does that look like a suit to you/ It looks like a sweater to me. And why is his arm so thick? It seems out of proportion. And what is he supposed to be doing? I have been told that he is supposed to be reaching for the gun with his right hand. While smoking a cigar with his left hand? I've heard of doing two things at once, but those two things?
Doesn't it seem like the first thing he would do, as soon as he realized that there was an active shooter in their midst, is ditch the cigar? To just drop it to the ground? But instead, he is choosing to continue to savor his cigar and just use one hand to deal with the emergency. And in the KRLD footage, you see Blackie smoking as he wrestles with "Ruby." He puts two hands on him, but that cigar remains in his mouth.
I'm telling you: that Jackson photo is a laughing stock. They should be embarrassed by it. Again: it was not taken during the spectacle. Notice that nobody looks activated. Everybody looks perfectly stationary, even though the shot has already gone off. Not one person in it is reacting appropriately to a gun blast. There wasn't any when it was taken.
