 The Beers photo, like the Jackson photo, shows the Shooter using his middle finger to pull the trigger. Why would Ruby do that when he had an intact right index finger? It so happened that he had a partially amputated left index finger. But apparently, the plotters were misinformed about that. They thought it was his right index finger, so they had Bookhout do it that way. There's no way Ruby would have done it that way, and if you try to invent an explanation for it, you're just going to make yourself look foolish. 

But, I'm sure there are people foolish enough to deny that that's a middle finger. Don't bother. You'll just be wasting your time because it was widely acknowledged at the time that that was a middle finger.
