Lee Oswald was definitely in the Far East in February 1958, even though Robert Oswald's book says otherwise, and the Stupid Backass doesn't even care. Backes is not the least bit interested.

Lee Oswald was in the Philippines from late November 1957 until March 1958. Last I checked, that includes the month of February.

November 20, 1957: LHO’s unit sails for the Philippine Islands.

March 7, 1958: LHO's unit sails back for Atsugi.

So, what it means, Backass, is that this citing must be wrong.

One thing about this bastard Backes is that he NEVER admits when he's wrong. And he's wrong a lot.

On October 27, 1957 -- five weeks after being assigned to Atsugi -- Oswald was pulling some gear out of his locker when a loaded .22 caliber Derringer pistol that he was keeping in his locker fell out. The weapon discharged when it hit the floor and Oswald was wounded in his left elbow.

Due to mission requirements (Oswald's unit was being temporarily sent to the Philippines) Oswald was not immediately court-martialed for the weapons offense. However, he was apparently put on mess duty for the interim. Instead of doing his job as a radar-operator, Oswald was working as a cook.

While in the Philippines, several unusual incidents occurred that involved Oswald.

First, a Private Schrand (who Oswald met during state-side training) apparently killed himself in a weapon handling accident. The incident was investigated by the Marines and it was concluded that it was an accident. In later years, the Warren Commission requested that the incident be re-investigated. The Office of Naval Intelligence did so and reconfirmed the finding that Schrand's death was an accident.

Oswald was not punished for yet another incident; while on sentry duty one night in the Philippines he inexplicably fired his rifle into the jungle.

Even odder, the actor John Wayne visited Oswald's unit while they were in the Philippines. Mr. Wayne dined with the Marines and a picture was taken that showed Wayne seated at a table with some Marines, while Oswald stood in a nearby doorway.

Also while still in the Philippines, Oswald passed the promotion test to make Corporal. But he was never actually promoted.

After returning the Atsugi Naval Air Base in March, Oswald was finally court-martialed for the October 27th incident in which he accidentally shot himself. The court-martial took place on April 11, 1958, on the charge of possessing an unregistered personal weapon. Oswald was sentenced to 20 days hard labor, fined $50 (spread out over two months), and demoted to Private (from Private First Class). The sentence of 20 days hard labor was suspended for six months -- with a warning that the suspended sentence could be un-suspended at a later date. In addition, Oswald was formally reassigned to serve as a mess cook.

And this is from John Armstrong's site:

In November, LEE Oswald was on maneuvers in the Philippines and later aboard the USS Cayuga County en route to the island of Ishima. During the Christmas holidays of 1957 LEE Oswald was aboard the USS Terrell County in the south China Sea, while his tall, nice-looking mother was still living in her apartment at 3830 W. 6th in Ft. Worth, and still working at Paul's Shoe Store. During the Christmas holidays a group photo was taken of store employees, and in the middle of this group is LEE Oswald's mother--the tall, nice-looking Marguerite Oswald. When this photo is compared with a photo of the short, heavy-set Marguerite Oswald impostor, anyone can see that their appearance, height, and weight are very different. These photos of two different women, both using the name Marguerite Oswald, are a very important "smoking gun."

At Christmas, 1957, and early 1958, HARVEY Oswald was working at the Pfisterer Dental Lab in New Orleans and attending NOAAA meetings with McBride. In early 1958 LEE Oswald was in the Philippines, later in Corregidor, and returned to Japan on March 18. On April 11, LEE Oswald was court-martialed and found guilty of possessing an unauthorized weapon.

So, Oswald- and I mean that burly guy in the photo taken by Robert Oswald- was DEFINITELY and ABSOLUTELY NOT in Texas in February 1958. He DEFINITELY was in the Philippines at that time. But, you don't give a flying fuck, do you, Backes? You don't care about the case. You don't care about Kennedy. You don't care about Oswald. You don't care about the truth. And, you don't have an ounce of integrity. You just plod along shamelessly right after you were proven wrong. Being stupid means never having to say you're wrong.

So, the bottom line is that you're wrong; Robert Oswald is wrong, and he is NOT the biological brother of the Oswald of fame. And, his brother Lee may still be alive because it's hard to imagine that Robert went along with a plot that involved his own brother being killed.

And do you see what happens? Your stupid rant provoked another exposition on my part, so indirectly and unwittingly, you spur me to write more and get the truth out. So, indirectly, you're working for me, Backes, because nothing you put up matters a bit.  Go ahead; draw another funny face, you clown.
