What a contrast: Don Willis admitting that he was wrong and Joseph Backes not doing so.

Backes is ready to move on, and without saying a word. In several posts, he mocked me for saying that bpete is a Native American.
He even put up an awful cartoon which mocked Native Americans in general. This from a guy who accused me of being a racist.

Then, I provided evidence in which bpete spoke of her heritage and how her ancestors were persecuted and abused- marched across the country like cattle. Her words.

Did Backes acknowledge that he was wrong? Did he admit that I was right? No. Not a word. He just moved right along to the next thing.

When you're wrong, it's important to admit it because it shows that you have respect for the truth. It shows that you hold the truth higher than anything else, including yourself.

But, Joseph Backes does NOT hold the truth higher than anything else.  He doesn't care about the truth: not the truth about Kennedy, not the truth about Oswald, and not the truth about bpete.

And, it only goes to prove the old adage, that being stupid means never having to say you're wrong. That's one truth that Joseph Backes acknowledges every day.
