So, this is Hickey in the Betzner photo. 

I don't see that he had a head as wide as this. 

In the photo below, his head looks long and narrow:

Look at it in the context of the Altgens photo at large. Compared to everyone else in the picture, that guy has got a freakishly wide head.

 If you think I'm shrugging that off,  you are out of your mind.
