Late as it is, I'm getting a good strong response tonight to my posting about Dr. McKnight's brilliant observation that they had a photo with a disputed figure in it, and the two possible candidates were both accessible, yet they only approached one of them about it; the other they kept completely in the dark.

As far as we know, Oswald died not knowing the Altgens photo existed and not knowing about the controversy.

How fair is that? They asked Lovelady. They asked Frazier. They asked Shelley. They asked Danny Arce. And I believe they asked others as well, although their names don't come to mind. But, they had the chance to ask the one other guy who was a contender, and him they shut out.

Is there supposed to be an innocent explanation for this?

Is there anyone who wants to defend the FBI's behavior?

Who wants to be the first to make an excuse for it?

What about you bpete? You've got Oswald wearing that shirt and handling that gun on dates unknown with fibers perpetually clinging, so take a stab at this one.

Here's an idea: stop worrying about Jerry Kroth and start worrying about Jerry McKnight because right now that 81 year old man has got you in a rear naked choke, and I dare say, your air supply is being cut off.

Why didn't the FBI show the Altgens photo to Oswald and ask him to identify Doorman as they did Lovelady on the night of November 23rd? Answer the question!
