So, here is the bottom line on Oswald's 12 hours of interrogation: no recording; no written transcript as per a stenographer; only one reference to Oswald's alibi: Out with Bill Shelley in front, which was omitted from all official reports; only one interrogator asked about Oswald's alibi, Will Fritz, and he lied, claiming that Oswald claimed to be eating lunch with other employees at the time of the shots which was bull shit; and every other interrogator given a complete pass on having to account for Oswald's alibi.

When I first got started in this endeavor, I would often hear that Oswald claimed to be in the 2nd floor lunch room during the shooting. But, Oswald was long finished eating lunch by 12:30, so what could he have been doing there? And where does it actually say that he said that? How did that go from Oswald's lips to the official record? As it stands right now, Out with Bill Shelley in front is the only concrete evidence of an alibi for Oswald that there is. Bookout and Hosty heard it just as well as Fritz did, so why didn't they include it in their report? A more apt question would be why did Fritz include it, and it's because his notes were only written to and for himself.

At this point in time, there is no reason to think that Oswald ever said or implied that he was in the lunch room at 12:30 sharp. That's just another urban legend. Oswald said that he was out with Bill Shelley in front.
