It's not as though Oswald didn't bring the Carcano to work but did bring another rifle.
Is that what Backes thinks? Because it's the only way another rifle could have relevance.
Oswald said that he brought nothing to work except his lunch, and I believe him.
Therefore, I am not interested in anyone's claim about any other rifle. But, I'll tell you where they can shove your other God-damn rifle....
This is Dan Rather demonstrating what Oswald's package must have looked like:
Notice that that bag is tightly sealed, presumably with tape. There is no evidence that Oswald had tape or used tape. There is no remnant of tape or glue on the bag.
Look at the demo bag again. I'm pretty sure Oswald didn't stick the pointed end into his armpit.
So presumably, he put the butt end into his armpit. And obviously, he could not have gotten his hand down to the other end to cup it. But, if that's the dimension of it, even clinching it with his other hand would have been difficult and awkward. You'd be fighting gravity constantly. There would be no mechanical advantage to that at all. Look at that package. Fix on it. Would you even think about carrying it in the manner that Buell Frazier described? You know darn well you wouldn't, and nobody would.
So, Oswald brings the rifle in disassembled, so when does he assemble it? And where does he assemble it? He and Frazier were a little late. There were already quite a few people there, including workers on the 6th floor. They were building a floor that day, remember? Furthermore, he had to start working as soon as he walked in the door. The work day had already begun. He couldn't disappear anywhere and assemble a rifle. He was on company time. So, did he go up to the 6th floor and hide it? But, there were already workers on the 6th floor. Again: he was late; the work day had already begun.
But presumably, and I say that only because they have to assume it, he got it up there and he hid it, and nobody had the slightest awareness. It was almost as though he was invisible.
So then, he starts working, and he works throughout the morning. Then they break for lunch at 11:45. Does he build it then? Apparently not because as they were coming down from the 6th floor, he asked them to hold the elevator for him. As a prank, they didn't. But, it shows that he had nothing further to do up there and was ready to come down.
So when did he build the rifle?
Well, as you know, Bonnie Ray Williams ate lunch up on the 6th floor: some fried chicken and a Dr. Pepper. And he stayed up there with every intention of watching the motorcade from up there. But then, shortly before it, he heard his friends down on the 5th floor, so he went to join them. But, that was just scant minutes before the motorcade how could Oswald have retrieved the rifle and assembled the rifle in time? He didn't even have any tools.
The lie of Oswald having shot Kennedy is so wicked, but it is also incredibly stupid and totally lacking in credibility. It isn't even remotely plausible. How evil it is to force that story into enslaved minds.
