So, Backes is going to Australia to speak for Greg Parker's ROKC. That's Reopen the Kennedy Case.

I remember Greg Parker from Education Forum. He was vehemently hostile about Oswald in the Doorway but then later, he began to like the idea when applied to Prayer Man. That's right. Greg became a Prayermanite.

And if you recall, Backes warmed up to the Prayer Man idea too:

Backes certainly showed interest and respect for the idea, but how anybody could think that this guy:

was this guy:

is a mystery to me.

Here is the link to the announcement about the symposium. It states that it's being held on the 20th and 21st, but they forgot to put the month. Amazing, isn't it? But, I checked the calendar, and it's November.

The venue is the Mercure, Spring St, Melbourne.

Dates Sat 21 and Sun 22

Time 8:30 am to 4:30 both days.

Price:
$150.00 single day pass
$250.00 two day pass

They're also featuring Gokay Hasan Yusuf, whom I know works closely with Greg Parker, and who has also been extremely hostile to Oswald in the doorway (the sane version). And, I'm pretty sure he has become a Prayermanite too. Wasn't it just recently that I posted his scathing attack of Albert Doyle for disputing the Prayer Man idea?

Hey, I'm seeing a pattern here because they are also including Jim DiEugenio who has also shown warmth and allegiance to Prayer Man. So, it's going to be like an assembly of Prayermanites.

It will also include Gayle Nix Jackson, Vince Palamara, and a bunch of Australians I don't know. But, I kept wondering, what about the head honcho himself, Greg Parker? Then I saw this at the bottom:

Still to come:  Greg Parker (author of Lee Harvey Oswald's Cold War),Sherry Feister (author and former crime scene analyst), Bill Simpich (civil liberties lawyer) Lee Farley (top shelf researcher)

I'm not surprised to see Farley included. Gee, if they can come up with bpete, they'll have the whole Densa Club.

But, what about Robin Unger? He's in Australia, and don't tell me they have issues with him. Backes doesn't have any issues with him; neither does Farley. So, what's the problem?

Prayermanism is ridiculous. Not only does that guy not look remotely like Oswald, but he was there too late.

You see Prayer Man there, and it doesn't look like he's going anywhere soon. And you see Baker who is running. So, presumably, Baker is about to run past Prayer Man. So, how could that guy (and let's note that he's far from fit) get to the snack room in time to meet Baker and without being the least bit winded? Waddling doesn't move you along too fast. But, if not I'm mistaken, some or all of the Praymanites dispute that Oswald's encounter with Baker and Truly ever happened.

However, it's in the Fritz Notes, which means that Oswald said it to Fritz:

We would certainly have a write-in campaign to oppose Backes being invited to speak by Debra Conway or someone like her stateside, and I would includes copies of Backes' more bilious rants against me, including calling for my murder, calling me a menstruating c___, etc. But, I don't imagine it would have any influence on Greg Parker. He'd probably applaud it.
