So, according to the official story, Detective Blackie Harrison sees "Ruby" rush Oswald, and he's about to fire. Then, Blackie responds by reaching for the gun with his right hand, while using his left hand to bring his cigar to his mouth.

Are you buying that? That after seeing the attack unfold, that he continued to smoke? That he refused to interrupt his smoking in an emergency?

And he kept smoking during the melee'. If you look closely, you can see that Blackie still has the cigar in his mouth as he wrestles with "Ruby."

People don't actually behave like that, so what the hell was going on?

As I said, the photos were staged, and they didn't have Blackie when the Jackson photo was taken. I believe FBI Agent James Hosty stood in for Blackie. I don't know who it is in the Beers photo because we can't see his face. But, why did they have Hosty smoke his cigar like Groucho Marx in the Jackson photo? They knew they were trying to pass one man off for another, and they were worried about it. Do you remember me telling you that they had Bookhout pretend to fire the pistol with his middle finger because they thought Ruby would have had to? Well, this was similar to that The cigar smoking was the action, the behavior, that would unite Hosty and Blackie, the way using the middle finger was supposed to unite Bookhout and Ruby. Of course, the latter backfired when it was realized that Ruby's missing index finger was his left, not his right. So, Ruby would have had no reason to use his middle finger.

So, that blew up on them, but you know what they say about the best-laid plans of mice and men.

But, with this other, they must have told Blackie that he needed to smoke his cigar and make it conspicuous because they had Hosty do it in the Jackson photo. So, Blackie was just following orders.

But, there is another goofy thing: In that situation, he wouldn't have just reached with his right arm to try to disrupt the attack. He would have mobilized his whole body. He would have set his whole body in motion. But, Hosty isn't doing that in the Jackson photo. His body is not in motion; he just has his arm outstretched. He's not going anywhere. His weight is settled. He's like a lump on a log. He is planted there like a tree in the ground. He may be leaning a little, but he is not activated. He hasn't set his body in motion. Reaching with his arm is all he is doing. And with his left arm, he is enjoying his cigar.

And that is ridiculous. The people who staged this had the minds of children. It's not how people behave. He would have ditched the cigar and mobilized his whole body. He would have moved in. He would have forsaken all thought about smoking.

Let's say a man is on the shoreline smoking as he watches his kid play in the water. Suddenly, he realizes that his kid is drowning. What he's going to do? He is going to ditch the cigarette or cigar. He's just going to dash it to the ground and take off running to save his kid. He is not going to keep smoking. And Blackie would not have kept smoking either. Having him continue to smoke during the emergency was a ridiculous element they added because they were idiots. NO ONE BEHAVES LIKE THAT DURING A LIFE-OR-DEATH EMERGENCY.
