But, whether they are lockers or cabinets, the point is that they sure got narrowed by what they did.

Regardless of what they are, somebody applied an extreme degree of aspect modification to that image on the left to alter it. They were trying to get to the thinness that we see on Oswald and Doorman. Lovelady, at the time, was actually closer to the figure on the right, which is why they used that guy. But, when you steal from Peter to pay Paul, or vice-versa, you wind up in trouble no matter what you do.
