I received wonderful news tonight from Sue Herndon. She said that yesterday, September 13, 2013, Mark Lane stated on national radio that it was Oswald standing in the doorway and seen in the Altgens photograph.
I was delighted to hear it, but I was not surprised. Mark Lane has always advocated for Oswald in the doorway. He included a tri-collage of Oswald, Lovelady, and Doorman in the very first edition of Rush to Judgment, which came out in 1966. And he certainly never changed his mind.
And, Mark Lane appeared tonight on the Geraldo cable television show along with Cyril Wecht. It was a very short segment, about 10 minutes at the end, and Dr. Wecht had a larger presence.
Dr. Wecht really just made one point: how infeasible the Single Bullet Theory is. And he had a visually- captivating model showing the supposed path of the bullet through the bodies of the two men. And he pointed out that the loss of mass to the bullet was only slightly more than 1%, which is ridiculous considering all the fragments that were found.
And when they gave Mark Lane a turn, he mainly stated that it was a CIA operation, that JFK was planning to disband the CIA and that he was waiting until after he was re-elected to do that. He also mentioned that Oswald never went to Mexico and that even David Atlee Phllips admitted that Oswald never went to Mexico.
This evening, Mark Lane did not get into Oswald in the doorway, but remember that the segment was very short, and Geraldo was the one controlling the direction of the conversation.
But, I have to say that overall, I was very disappointed. The stuff Cyril Wecht said about the Single Bullet Theory was all true, of course, but people have heard it a thousand times. On Sienfeld, they even made a joke about it: The Magic Loogie. They even had their own Z-film of this spitball attack, and they had the characters posing to demonstrate the path the spitball took. It was very funny, but it was also sad to realize that people were getting calloused about the JFK assassination to where they could laugh about it. .
But, the worst thing about this program tonight was Geraldo. After he dismissed his two guests, he gave a solo spiel in which he repeatedly referred to Oswald as a "low-life" and he finished by saying that in the end we have to reckon with the fact that this low-life killed our beloved 35th President "pretty much by himself."
I get it. Geraldo works for Fox News, which is to say, Neo-Con News. And neo-cons are totally opposed to JFK truth. They pay Geraldo; and they pay him well; and as a result, he does their bidding. And it's as simple as that. Geraldo sold out for the money.
But, it doesn't reduce my satisfaction knowing that just yesterday, September 13, 2013, as the 50th anniversary nears, the great Mark Lane, championed Oswald in the doorway. Mark Lane is the attorney for the American Free Press, and they have contacted me because they are sending a reporter to cover our JFK truth conference in Santa Barbara on November 22nd. And I have direct information that Mark Lane knows about the OIC.
