The idea that Oswald's bus and cab rides were faked needs to be examined logically because when you examine it logically, you realize that it is a preposterous idea.
A bus ride and a cab ride involved more than just Oswald; it involved other people. That means that the moment you decide to take that course of faking those things, you are obliged to bring other people into the conspiracy. But, the whole idea of a conspiracy is to LIMIT the number of people who know about it to a select few. The very act of ordering someone to lie and say they saw Oswald or transported Oswald is the same as yelling: WE KILLED KENNEDY!
According to Joseph Backes, a decision was made to do this before they had any idea about the suitability of the false witnesses they would have to drum up. They just presumed they could come up with people who would confirm what they were saying and do it believably and remain hushed about it.
But, let's take it back earlier than that. Let's go back to 12:36 or whenever Oswald was leaving. What did the conspirators have planned?
Obviously, they wanted Oswald to get killed ASAP. But, it couldn't happen at the Depository because he wasn't armed at the Depository. What justification would they have to kill him there? So, they had to send him home to get his gun and then send him somewhere where he could hopefully be killed.
All of that was thought out. So, how did they plan for Oswald to get home? If it was bad for them to have Oswald ride home with someone, don't you think they could have prevented it? If they thought it was better for Oswald to take public transportation so that they he could be always and only the lone gunman, don't you think they could have brought that about? If you don't think Oswald rode the bus and cab to get home but rather was driven home by someone, who do you think drove him? And why did that someone drive him?
Oswald had NO real friends there. None. If they didn't want him riding home with anyone, then no one was going to drive him home. Why would they have to lie about something that they were in full power to prevent?
They got him to go to the Texas Theater, didn't they? You don't think he went there because he had a hankering for a war movie, do you? He was told to go there, right? Well, if they were in control of him for that, then they were in control of him for everything. They could have gotten him to go home however they wanted him to. If they didn't want him riding home with anybody, then nobody was going to drive him home.
It's insane to think that "they" were not in total control of the whole situation, including Oswald's every move.
You think they lied about the bus and the cab to hide that Oswald was driven home by an accomplice? Then why did they have an accomplice drive him home?
