Whether or not Mary Ann Moorman took the Moorman photo IS an important question. This is not a situation where we can just say:

"Well, we don't want to upset Mary, so we'll drop it. Besides, what difference does it make?"

It makes a big difference. If Mary Moorman didn't take it, it means that malfeasance occurred. Malfeasance doesn't occur for no reason. If they replaced Mary Moorman's photo with another, it can only mean that her photo showed something that conflicted with the official story. It revealed too much. And I could only speculate about what that could be.

Remember, Mary was shooting from very close-up, closer than anybody.  She was on the curb, and some say she was in the street. I know there is controversy about that. But, let's go with what she says, which is that she was on the curb. That means that one lane on Elm Street is the only thing that separated her from the limo. Can't you imagine that authorities might prefer to have a picture of JFK and Jackie from behind (as in the MM photo) rather than one that showed their faces up close? Don't you think that could give away too much, more than they wanted the public to see?

But, putting aside the issue of whether it is Mary's photo (and I am not disputing her legal ownership of it under any circumstances) the idea that we shouldn't inquire about it because it's hurtful to Mary is ridiculous. If I were Mary, I would certainly want to know if I took the picture or not. Undoubtedly, Mary took a picture. I am not disputing that at all. But, was it this photo?

That is a good safe picture from the conspirators' point of view. We can't see their faces, which might have conveyed something important. The head is obviously intact even though it was taken after the fatal head shot.  Doesn't it bother you that in 2013, 50 years later, Matt Lauer deviated from the official story about when the picture was taken? I didn't say he was wrong, just that he deviated from the official story. He said she took it at the time of the first shot. That's fine. I have no problem with it. But, the Moorman photo was taken after the last shot.

I am NOT attacking Mary Moorman. I am not accusing her of anything. I am not disputing her ownership of the Moorman photo. But, if she didn't take it, if the photo she took was replaced by the photo we know as the Moorman photo, then surely the men who killed Kennedy were responsible for that. And that's what makes the question important: the men who killed Kennedy.
