I just thought of something!  Hear me out on this.

According to Mary Moorman, she was taken to the Dallas Police Station, and her photo was taken away from her, but just for a few hours. It was returned to her at the end of the day, and she took it home with her.

But then, they came back to her house late that night- midnight, she said- and they took the photo away from her again.

Now, when they took her photo from her the first time, you know they must have made a copy of it. It was a close-up photo of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the closest photo of it that there was. She was only a few feet away from the man. She was closer to him than anybody except the other occupants of the limo. So, how could they not make a copy of that photo??

They MUST have made a copy of it. They would never have sent her home with the one and only copy in the world, such that if her dog ate it or her toddler dropped it in the toilet it was gone forever. Stuff happens!  So, of course, they must have made a copy of it. It was a matter of not only criminal investigation but also of history. They were never going to send her home with the one and only original without making a copy. It was way too valuable and important to let her do that.

So, if they sent her home with it, as she claims, it means they had a copy. And since they had a copy, as they must have, why did they have to go back to her house late that night and retrieve the original? If they had their own, why did they need hers?

It's because they were going to do something to it. They were either going to alter it or they were going to replace it or both. And if they did that to theirs while she still had hers, obviously that was no good. It was unworkable.

Of course, I wasn't there, but I'd be willing to bet that they asked her when they took it if she or anyone made a copy.

So, at the very least, the fact that they took it from her, made a copy before returning it to her, and then came back that night to get the original again proves that they were going to somehow alter the Moorman photo. And I say they altered it to the point of replacing it.
