bpete has finally issued a response about the Darnell image discrepancy.

He says that his image on the left is "quite clear" while the one on the right is "degraded", and he thinks that gets him off the hook.

But, the issue is not how clear it is but how real it is. And his image (on the left) does not look real at all. That guy is impossible. He is a caricature, a cartoon. He couldn't exist, not like that.

This chiropractor is saying that that guy could not be a real person. But, the other guy looks just fine.

The issue is distortion, and not of the picture overall, but of the figure. And the figure on the left shows a lot of distortion, while the figure on the right does not. That is what you go by. So, the one on the right is real, while the one on the left is not.
