Question: if Oswald sent a telex to the FBI about an attack on Kennedy, then J. Edgar Hoover would have been informed, right? And, J. Edgar Hoover lived right next door to LBJ, and they were very, very close. LBJ's daughters called Hoover "Uncle Edgar". That's how close they were. So, Hoover would have told LBJ that Oswald was aware of the plot. Right?
Now, what would LBJ have done? Wouldn't he have gotten word to his henchman, his hit-man, his hired gun, Malcolm Wallace?
"Mac, Oswald is on to us. He sent a telex to the FBI. He knows everything."
So, if Oswald was informing the FBI about the assassination plot- and it really doesn't matter who he informed; it could have been anyone in the FBI- then word would surely have gotten to Hoover, and then word would surely have gotten to LBJ, and then word would surely have gotten to Malcolm Wallace.
So, when Oswald was up on the 6th floor with Malcolm Wallace, inspecting his rifle and handing it to him and telling him it was ready, wouldn't Wallace have said something like:
"Who do you think you're fooling, Oswald? You think I don't know what you did? You think I don't know who you are? You think I don't know you're just pretending to be one of us? You are an under-cover FBI agent, an informant, and now you've reached the end of the line."
See if you can follow the progression in this collage, Richard. It's a little tricky.
