The claim that Oswald was attending secret meetings with Ruth Ann Martinez, Loy Factor, and others is completely unfounded. If if were true, it would constitute irrefutable evidence that Oswald was involved in the assassination as a participant. It would also mean that he prolifically lied to police about just about everything until his last breath. And, if it were true, there would be no way to justify Oswald's actions in terms of his innocence.

It's comical and buffoonish to think otherwise. If a person aids and abets killers; if he colludes and collaborates with them and then does nothing to stop them from committing their crime, and even helps them until the last minute inspecting the rifle etc, and then drives off with them afterwards, and then lies to police to protect them, to keep them out of trouble - HE'S GUILTY! There are no ifs, ands, or buts.

Oswald said nothing about any of this to police, but if he had, what would he have said? That he did all that, but he didn't really mean it? That he did all that but he sent a telex to the FBI? But, there is no evidence that he did. The only telex that we know of was an internal FBI directive from the Director. And the odds are extremely great that it's phony. There is no way that FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover could have written that poorly. "Atrocious" does not begin to describe the spelling in that telex, and it was far worse than anything Oswald ever wrote.

And to make the assumption that Oswald scratched out a hand-written warning about the assassination to FBI Agent Hosty is ridiculous. Hosty was there at the interrogations. Wouldn't Oswald have brought up the note if that is what it contained?

The fact is: there is NO EVIDENCE that Oswald ever contacted anyone in the FBI about the assassination. None. No letter. No telex. No phone call. No nothing. There is just nothing at all.

There is a report about a phone call made to the FBI about the Chicago plot from someone named "Lee" but considering that it involved the Chicago plot, it's hard to imagine how Oswald could have known about that.

We know that these operations involved a lot of people who had different roles, but the way they controlled risk was to only provide the minimum of information that each person needed. It was a "need to know" situation. There is no evidence that Oswald had any knowledge of the Chicago plot, and considering that he was the patsy in the Dallas plot, there is no reason to think that they would have told him about the other one.

I don't know about you, but I would have to have more than an unconfirmed report about someone named "Lee"  blowing the whistle on the Chicago plot to conclude that it was Lee Harvey Oswald.

What we really have at the end of the day is absolutely nothing about Oswald having contacted anyone about the plot to kill Kennedy or even that he knew about the plot to kill Kennedy.

And what we do have, which is very impressive, is testimony from James Jarman that Oswald asked him why people were gathering on the sidewalk outside the TSBD on 11/22/63.

Doesn't that demonstrate that Oswald did not know that JFK would be riding down Elm Street through Dealey Plaza that day? And if he didn't know that Kennedy would be riding down Elm Street through Dealey Plaza, how could he know about a plot to kill him on Elm Street in Dealey Plaza?

What is the alternative explanation for that? That Oswald knew everything but he was putting on an act for James Jarman?

That is a totally arbitrary, capricious, and unfounded conclusion based on nothing but willful denial.

Here is Oswald with Thomas Arthur Vallee, the designated patsy in the Chicago plot. They had a lot in common. Both were ex-Marines. Both were loners. Both were political hotheads, although from opposite ends of the political spectrum. Vallee was a right wing extremist, and Oswald, as you know, was a left-wing extremist.

And Vallee knew absolutely nothing. No Richard Hooke ever came forward claiming that Vallee was deeply immersed in the Chicago plot. He was just a low-level worker who worked in a building of the correct height and location to be able to say he shot Kennedy. Police interrogated Vallee for hours and were completely satisfied that he knew absolutely nothing; he was clueless.

So, do you really think they ran the Chicago plot with a clueless patsy but the Dallas plot with a patsy who knew everything?

Thomas Arthur Vallee knew nothing about the Chicago plot; they kept him completely in the dark.

Lee Harvey Oswald knew nothing about the Dallas plot; they kept him completely in the dark.

Everything Richard Hooke is saying about Oswald being immersed in the plot and entwined with the killers is a figment of his wild and vivid imagination.
