Since I brought up the Altgens Mother and Boy, I'll remind you that there are three Madonna and Child images from the assassination that I know to be bogus. The other two are the Towner Mother and Baby, who are not even photographic. They are art. Techno-art. They weren't there, and they weren't anywhere. They didn't exist. They weren't real.
Would you believe that that woman at that moment was waving at the President with her left arm overhead? That "halo" on her head is actually her left hand. Why does it look like her left arm is coming over to support the baby? Because it's a bull shit image! It's crap. It isn't real. Notice also that the mother has no neck; it's just her head sitting on her chest. How? Again: it's crap. Making techo-art wasn't easy, especially back then. And if she's not holding the baby with her left arm (she's not; seriously, she's waving at the President constantly) then how is she supporting the baby? How come we don't see her right arm coming around to support the baby? Again: because it's crap. It's a cartoon. You can make anything you want in a cartoon.
They put Mother and Baby in Towner in a vain effort to authenticate the Woman and Boy in Altgens. But how is a baby the same as a 3 year old boy?
What's the explanation? Both are pure bull shit. Utter crap.
And then the other Madonna and Child is from a motorcade image.
In this case, the woman is not only holding the child with just one arm, her left arm, but she is doing it in such a way that the girl seems to be sitting on her, with her backs, hips, and knees forming right angles as they do when you're sitting in a chair. That girl looks so much like she's sitting that it's like she has an invisible chair underneath her. She can't possibly be sitting on the forearm of the woman. What else could she be sitting on? Here is the whole picture:
I can't imagine what that girl could be sitting on. Can you? But, she has got to be sitting on something, and it isn't her mother. That's out. I say that she was sitting somewhere else, probably on a bench or stool, and they moved her into the photo. And then they pinkified the whole thing. What are the chances that the girl and her mother would both be wearing the exact same color?
Are there any other bogus Madonna and Child images in the JFK assassination? Who knows, maybe there are. It's a comforting image. I remember when I was selling Collier's Encyclopedias in college, during the training program they told us that when we were flipping through the art volume showing it to the prospective customer that we should stop on the image of the Madonna and Child because it's so soothing and comforting. Maybe that is what they had in mind.
