In the above photo, the road signs are to the left in the picture. they are left of the street light. But, there is no confusion. We know that they are both right along the curb, and from the perspective of being along the curb, they are in a straight line. How do we know it? It's mainly because we can see the poles along the curb, and we can see that each is the same distance from the curb. It's the curb that gives us our bearing.
Backes tried to create the same effect by drawing the poles in, but that's what you call cheating. That's what you call creating an illusion. That's what you call assuming the very thing that you need to prove.
In this case here, we're pretty satisfied that the light pole is on the curb because we can see it pretty down low, and we see where the curb is, and we also see that there aren't too many people between it and the curb. But, all bets are off concerning the road signs because we don't see the pole for it, and there are way too many people between it and the curb to suggest that it's right along the curb.
Do we get to draw the pole in right over the people to create the illusion? No, we do not. You don't get to do that, Backass, you dumb pluck. That mob of people between the signs and the curb suggest that there is a lot of space there- room for them to be.
