In the color photo, we're not just not seeing the light reflections, but we're not even seeing the grainyness that the shirt had.
Even the Newseum shirt is full of grainyness. So, why does the iconic color photo of Oswald's shirt from the day of the assassination lack it? We could debate it, but regardless: we're throwing it out. It is hereby disqualfied. You can't use it as reference to how Oswald's shirt should have looked in the doorway. The Altgens photo is a black and white photo, so stick with the black and white images.
And yes, his shirt was grainy and it reflected light.
