No, Backes. Sylvia Meagher is raising the possibility, if not the likelihood, that Doorman was Oswald.

She was a colleague of Harold Weisberg who believed that Oswald was Doorman. She faulted the WC for not providing any images of Lovelady and merely asserting that Doorman was Lovelady. And when her mentor Harold Weisberg provided images, he pointed out that Lovelady wore a different shirt, a short-sleeved striped shirt to work that day, and therefore, he could not possibly be Doorman. It was her mentor Harold Weisberg who first published this letter from the FBI asserting that Lovelady stated that he wore a red and white striped shirt and blue jeans.

It was Harold Weisberg, her mentor, who fished through the documents and found that. And it was Harold who first showed the world the FBI images of Lovelady wearing the very clothes that he said he wore.

Sylvia Meagher was Harold Weisberg's protege'. To imply that the above statement meant that she endorsed Lovelady in the doorway, but she just wished that they showed the pictures is ridiculous. And what part of "Oswald's possible total innocence of the assassination" do you not understand?
