You probably heard that the head of the Sixth Floor Museum, Gary Mack, whose real name was Larry Dunkel, died today of a rare form of cancer. He was 68.

They have a lot of responsibility there at the Sixth Floor Museum because they are defending the official story of the JFK assassination, and they are doing it at Ground Zero- right where he got killed. An awful lot hangs in the balance because if the lie about Kennedy's death implodes, the moral authority of the US government implodes with it. After all, it was broad elements within the US government that killed Kennedy, and it's the US government, including every Presidential administration, that has been lying about it ever since.

So, who are they going to get to replace Gary Mack? Are they going to get another former conspiracy advocate who saw the light and returned to the fold? Well, they can do whatever they want, but I would advise against it. And that's because I think it would look pretentious. Very pretentious. In fact, at this juncture, I think they would be well advised to get a rabid lone-nutter, someone who not only has always supported the official story without wavering but who has derision for conspiracy believers- who dismisses them out of hand. Say with an attitude like Vincent Bugliosi who referred to them as "buffs."

And that's because this is a war. We are doing battle for hearts and minds. And it's vicious.  Remember, people have been killed, and it doesn't get any more vicious than that. Who was the last person to be killed to suppress JFK truth? I don't know for sure, but it may have been John F. Kennedy Jr. because his investigation of his father's murder and determination to expose the real killers was one of the motives for killing him. It's well known that he did not accept the official story.

I really don't think Gary Mack had the right kind of personality for this fight. Jesse Ventura showed up there, with television cameras rolling, and he asked Gary that if the two of them sat down to enjoy a cold one together, would it possibly come out that even Gary Mack wonders sometimes if the crime of the century involved more than just Lee Harvey Oswald? And Gary admitted to wondering about it sometimes. Now you see, that's not good. He didn't lose his job over it, but I bet you he was sternly warned not to say that kind of thing again if he values his job. They really need more of a Stonewall Jackson type.

But frankly, I won't mind if they get someone like that because it's clean. Remember what I said: there is no JFK community; there is a JFK war zone. Outside of the fakes and phonies, there can't be any friendliness between Oswald accusers and Oswald defenders. Let's not pretend that this is anything but a bitter, caustic, acrimonious fight to the finish. Why heap a layer of BS on top of it with terms like "JFK community?" As if everyone is getting along and having a civil debate? That is an insult to intelligence and a denial of reality. Am I saying that Oswald defenders have no business being friends with lone-nutters? Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. If they are passionate about JFK truth, they have no business fraternizing with the enemy. There is no excuse for it, and there is no rationale for it.

We'll see what they do at the Sixth Floor Museum, but I have a feeling they're going to appoint: a soldier. Not necessarily someone with a military background, but possibly so, and definitely someone with a soldier's attitude towards war.
